That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. Philemon 1:6

In past devotionals, we have learnt how Consistency, Concentration and Conviction are rules that must be applied in the place of prayer.

Today, we are going to be looking at a fourth named Celebration.

Our theme scripture tells us that our faith becomes effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus. As believers, we ought to make the transcript of our prayers words of thanksgiving and appreciation for who we are and what we have in Christ.

When you think about Salvation, the indwelling Spirit, an eternity with The Father, violent entry of souls into the Kingdom, spiritual gifts- You are overwhelmed with thanks.

The words of G.K Chesterton always come to mind- He said that “the worst moment for an atheist is when he is really thankful and has no one to thank.” But we always with gladdened hearts have our Father to thank for all things.

Thank Him for His indescribable gift today!
