“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.”
One crucial thing that a life of consistent and fervent prayer births in us is supernatural direction. Our theme scripture shows us how Apostle Paul and Barnabas were led by God into ministry.
Via prayer, they knew what to do and whom they were to do it with. The privilege of being led by our Father cannot be overemphasized.
What you notice when you are given to consistent and fervent prayer is that you are always in sync with God’s will for your life. His leading becomes effortless to you.
Ananias was told in Acts 9 that Paul was praying and had received a vision in the place of prayer. It is worthy of note that he was just a recent convert at the time.
“And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he PRAYETH, 12 And hath SEEN in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.”
Isaiah in Isaiah 30:21 prophesied about a time such as this, It says “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”
This is why I often say that what is most important in the place of prayer is not the ‘prayer point’ but the ‘points from prayer’.
It’s important to always have a notepad with you anytime you pray. Prayer is a dialogue between you and your Father, not a monologue.
Do you know how blessed you will be to always know God’s leading for every phase of your life? To always get the timing and place right ? To know the how, the when, the what?
SAY THIS: I am directed supernaturally by the Spirit of God. I am not confused, I know what to do at every point in time. I am led effortlessly by The Father.
