“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions”

(Joel 2:28).

It might surprise you to know that many Christians feel that manifestations of the spirit are for a select few who are “way up there.” But the bible doesn’t teach that.

Let’s see Mark 16:15-18: “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Here, Jesus is giving what is popularly known as ‘the Great Commission,’ but that is not our focus today. The phrase: “And these signs shall follow them that believe” was not even referring to those Jesus was talking to at that point in time. It was referring to those whom such people would preach to. Signs should follow every believer.”

God’s design is for everyone who believes to be involved in ministry. The signs are for those that believe.  And it is your job to fill them with the spirit so that they can walk in the reality of these signs.
