“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38).

God does not want you sick. You wants you in perfect health. This is something that must settle in your mind and spirit if you are to walk in divine health.

I know you’ve heard it before that God wants you well, but you must meditate on it so much so that there isn’t an iota of doubt in your heart. 2 Peter 1:19  says: “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:”

The day dawns in phases. The day is bright at 6:30 am, but that is nothing compared to 12 noon. Understanding is like that. You know the word now, but the more you meditate and insist on it, the more it settles in your heart. Stay with the word until the ‘day star’ arises in your heart and darkness no longer has a place to hide. If there is an area you are struggling with, it’s probably because you do not have enough light in that area. So, find out what God’s word says about your health, pay special attention to it, meditate on it and stick with it.

It is important to note here that God can use medicine to heal. King Hezekiah for example, received his healing with the use of a poultice in 2 Kings 20. As long as your faith is first of all in the healing power of God, you have done nothing wrong using medication.

Not only is divine health your portion, it is your right to heal the sick (Mark 16:17).  It is natural for the sick to be healed when you lay hands on them. Don’t be afraid; step out in faith and pray for the sick.
