“As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them” (Act 13:2).
Prayer conditions your spirit to function according to divine design. When we pray, expression is given to who we are and what is ours in the Lord. Then, we will function effortlessly in divine leading. A man of prayer will never remain confused. He is in sync with God’s plans for his life. He has received the ‘downloads’ tarrying in the place of prayer. He comes out knowing what to do, with whom it should be done and when it should be done.
This is why we must pay attention when we pray. Don’t make the prayer points your sole preoccupation. Listen for the points from prayer- those instructions from God downloaded in your spirit. Act on them. I usually advise people to keep writing materials with them when they pray. God will speak!
Supernatural leading may come in different ways. It could be a rock solid inner conviction about what to do next. This way you just have a strong perception in your spirit even though you didn’t particularly hear a voice as you prayed. However, whatever means He may choose, the Spirit of God leads us in the place of prayer. Expect such today.
