God is good concerning healing

“And Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord”

(Matt 9:28)

One truth displayed in scripture is that God is ever willing, ready and able to heal. He is always ready. When you read the scriptures, you discover that it is a lot cheaper to receive a healing from God than we think.

Let’s take Matthew 9:27-28: “And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.”

The conversation above is a very simple one. When it comes to healing, this is God’s position. It is the same scenario every time Jesus healed someone in scriptures: “Do you believe that I can do this?” Jesus even healed people who did not even believe he was the Christ. When Jesus was being arrested, and Peter cut off a guard’s ear, Jesus healed the guard.

It is important to understand that Healing is for everybody who believes.

The requirement for receiving a healing from God is simply believing he can heal. The interesting thing is that you can believe in God and his salvation plan, but if you don’t believe in his ability to heal, it won’t work for you.

“Do you believe that I can do this?” That’s God’s position. He never said: “Do you believe I’m God– if you don’t believe I’m God, I’m not going to heal you.” God is good like that!

Hallelujah! If you’re trusting God for a healing, believe. You don’t have to qualify by any standards. Only believe!
