“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth”

(3Jn 1:2).

Like we said in the past few articles, you have a major part to play in staying healthy. Today, we will discuss a few areas that you should pay special attention to.

One of such is your posture. If you work a desk job, you probably spend most of your day with your back and neck bent towards your computer. That could cost you long term issues in those areas.

Another area you can’t afford to compromise on is nutrition; Fast foods may seem more convenient for a busy lifestyle, but are destructive in the long term if not taken wisely. Eat a balanced diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of water, experts recommend at least eight glasses daily. It was Pastor Chris Oyakhilome who said that if 90 percent of the people who come to the healing school drink enough water, they won’t be there in the first place.

Don’t forget to exercise. The fact that you’re under a lot of physical stress is not equal to exercise. Try to squeeze in a few minutes daily, you’d be surprised at how different you’ll feel. Also, learn to go for regular check ups. A lot of serious but preventable issues could be developing even when you feel fine. You could be the calmest, most laid back person in the world and still have high blood pressure. So don’t neglect regular check-ups, especially if you’re above 40.

Find out your Body Max Index, BMI. It is a measure of body fat based on your weight in relation to your height, and applies to most adult men and women aged 20 and over.
