James compares the human lifetime to fog or a vapour in James 4:14. He helps us to see that this earthly life is fragile and we, even as believers, cannot afford to careless with it. Here are more things needful to the body.

Nutrition is one of the most important. Eating the right foods is instrumental to our bodies functioning as they are supposed to. Even on a limited budget, you can make some effort to include fruits and vegetables in your staple diet.

Also learn to have regular checkups. Especially in this part of the world, it is commonplace to get used to self-medication, and take certain symptoms for granted. Make it a habit to go for regular checkups at a hospital, and the regularity should be increased as one gets older.


Proper Stress management is also something never to take for granted. Sometimes, our health can also be negatively affected by toxic relationships and undue pressure. Ensure that you learn to manage such relationships well. Surround yourself with positive people as your relationships affect you greatly.
