Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
In our opening scripture, we see Jesus liken the Kingdom of Heaven to a treasure. He let’s the disciples know how valuable the Kingdom is. He educates them to see the kingdom as a treasure to delight in.
The Psalmist David speaks of the satisfaction he derives from the house of The Lord, He says in Psalm 36: 7-9
“How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.”
We see all that David experienced and more fulfilled in the life of a believer.
We are satisfied in Christ! We have a river that flows eternally within us because we have drunk from Him. Hallelujah.
Step out today conscious of the fact that you are not the needy seeking to be filled, but the filled conscious of the river dwelling within.
