Php 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

What many people call faith is religious anxiety. If you’re anxious, you’re not in faith. Many times, walking in faith requires patience.

Many people think that they are walking in faith by insisting that things happen in their own time instead of in God’s time or according to their will instead of God’s will.

Faith is not always ‘now’. Abraham, the father of faith waited two decades for a child. Don’t challenge God’s existence simply because you did not get your desire within your allotted time. That is not faith.

Faith is also not covetousness. The Bible instructs us to be content, faith does not go contrary to that instruction. Luk 12:15 says: “And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”

Again, we are reminded in 1 Tim 6: 6: “But godliness with contentment is great gain.”

Faith is not a tool for self gratification. It’s your positive response to the will of God. Who gets the glory when you demonstrate your faith? God does.
