“…for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created”
Revelation 4:11

Our purpose is definite – to please the father.
We were created for the pleasure of God. That’s our purpose.

Purpose is simply the reason for which we were created. It is that one thing that if you fail at, nothing else you succeed at will count.

No career can be your ultimate purpose. They are but platforms – vehicles – for the fulfillment of purpose.

Was Adam’s purpose in life to be a gardener? No. To assume Yes would be petty.

Adam fulfilled purpose in his fellowship with God. But Adam’s purpose on earth gave rise to an assignment.

As man, he must survive, and so, he must tend the garden. Purpose gives rise to assignment. Purpose is not assignment.

What is that pleasure of God for which we are created? The bible says that God chose us in Jesus Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, ACCORDING TO THE GOOD PLEASURE OF HIS WILL. Ephesians 1:4-5

Apostle Paul says to the church at Corinth:
And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:15

As simple as this might sound to you, God’s purpose for your life is that you have faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, grow in His knowledge, and help others do the same.

Whatever you do, walk in purpose beginning today.
