“And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”
2 Corinthians 5:15

You already know God has big plans for you. But what if I told you that you could also make plans to do something big for God.

It can be very easy to say, “there is nothing I can do for God, he has everything”. I want you to just hold up a little, and think again, or better still, look at the opening scripture again.

Apostle Paul informs us that Christ Jesus didn’t just die for us and rose again, He died for us so that we may live for Him. Hence, our lives must be lived for Him- His purpose, plans and ambitions.

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”
2 Corinthians 5:18-20

Wow! We have been given the ministry of reconciliation. There is something God wants us to do for him. He wants us to beseech people in Christ stead to be reconciled to God.

“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:3-4

He isn’t willing for any to perish, but for all to come to the knowledge of Christ. And because God will not appear to them and preach the gospel to them personally, He needs you.

You might ask “what about Apostle Paul?”. Apostle Paul’s encounter with the Lord Jesus was an exception not the rule.

God’s divine order demands that we go and tell the world what Jesus has done. He did it, we tell it. Don’t let 2020 be all about you. What can you do for the gospel? Do it big!
