“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”
One vital thing a believer must realize and be conscious of is that the words of Christ demand an unquestionable loyalty.
The above passage presents an opportunity to exhibit true obedience and loyalty.
Jesus, before His departure, gave His disciples a task capable of determining the eternal destination of a man. He instructed them to teach all nations, to make disciples of men.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
“And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
We are to show the same commitment the disciples demonstrated towards the propagation of the gospel. We are to take this ministry seriously. We are to go.
The gospel is a message to be announced – a news, something to be told. As believers, we must be instruction-oriented.
Say This: I’ve been empowered to go, and I go. Christ did it and I tell it.
