“By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” – Hebrews 11:3 NLT

God spoke the universe into form. By His words, out of obscure darkness, came the beauty of the world we live in.

Interestingly, this God-kind of faith is neither farfetched nor reserved for a select few. You have it, I have it, we all have it. It has been given to every child of God.

It was the same faith resident in the apostles:

“Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained LIKE PRECIOUS FAITH WITH US by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ..” – II Peter 1:1 NKJV

This same faith made you a believer:

“For by grace you have been saved through FAITH, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God…”
– Ephesians 2:8 NKJV

“You believed the Good News in your heart and confessed that Jesus was your Saviour.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” – Romans 10:10 NKJV

How do we exercise this God-kind of faith? By speaking!

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3 KJV)

A simple command produced a great effect.

“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak,” – II Corinthians 4:13 NKJV

Friends, our faith is a vocal one. If you want to see something happen, you must believe it, then say it. In essence, your liberation is on the other side of your confession.

Like Jesus said, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but BELIEVES that those things he SAYS will be done, he will have whatever he SAYS.” – Mark 11:22‭-‬23 NKJV

The God-kind of faith does not deny the facts. Rather, it chooses to believe the Word of God over the facts. It speaks the Word!

When you say you have faith for a healing for example, you are not asking for too much. It is God’s will for you. It is promised in His word (I Peter 2:24) so all you need do is speak it into reality.

Finally, let’s see the text below:
“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17 KJV)

The text we just read says the just shall live by faith! We are the just because we have been justified by faith. Hence, faith becomes our life force as believers. We believe, so we are. We believe, so we speak.

Henceforth, develop and maintain an unshaken conviction in the Word of God. Then ensure you keep saying it till you see it.
