“Do not be afraid of anyone, for I will be with you to deliver you. This is the Lord ’s declaration.” -Jeremiah 1:8 HCSB

Now that you have the right view of who you are, you need to be aware that some things will stand in your way of fulfilling purpose. One of those things is fear. You want to make an impact? Crush fear.

Like Jeremiah, you may have a calling (Jeremiah 1:5) yet still look down at yourself (Jeremiah 1:6). Knowing God, He wouldn’t let you wallow in fear. See His response to Jeremiah:

“…Do not say, “I am only a youth,” for you will go to everyone I send you to and speak whatever I tell you. Do not be afraid of anyone, for I will be with you to deliver you.” – Jeremiah 1:7‭-‬8 HCSB

God had to deal with Jeremiah’s fear. You want to make impact, then you need to deal with fear. And this is how you do so:

Reprogram your mind/thinking (Jeremiah 1:9-10). God reprogrammed Jeremiah’s perspective when he was afraid of the call of God on his life (Jeremiah 1:11-13). See yourself the way God sees you. If you don’t, you will plan your life based on your own capacity not His vision for your life.

See! What are you seeing? Sometimes, the reason why you fail is tied to your sight (2 Kings 6:15-17). See differently; change your perspective. Pray that God should open your eyes to see.

Stop hiding. Stop running. A lot of times, the miracle you’re looking for is at the place of performance. You need to get to work. Stop waiting in your house for the miracle to come. Go out! The capital is in the instruction to go! Whatever God is asking you to do, do it. He’s committed to your success. He wants you to be successful. He doesn’t want you to be mediocre.

Prepare in the place of prayer. Boldness comes in the place of prayer (Jeremiah 1:17). If you have a vision and you’re afraid, pray! Call your friends together and pray, if need be.

Serve. Elisha could part the Jordan because he had walked with Elijah (2 Kings 2:13). Serve with someone who is doing what you want to do.

Finally, remember who is with you – He is the LORD of the sea and the waves. If He is with you, then you are good to go!

Child of God, the creator of the whole universe lives inside of you (Hebrews 13:6) take that step and fulfill purpose. Crush fear!
