“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Bible is replete with God’s constant reassurance of his love for mankind. Like the popular children’s song “Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so.” We can take it a step further and sing, “Yes, Jesus loves me. He proved it on the cross”.

Salvation is the greatest show of love that God has for man. His salvation plan is a cause for celebration. God doesn’t just loves us, He delights in His love for us. See what ‭‭the Bible says about how God delights in His love for us:

“The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.””
Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV

Isn’t it amazing that God didn’t just come in human flesh to die for you, He also rejoices over you with singing? It’s amazing, right? This is enough to make you rejoice today and put your worries aside. When you understand the love of God, then you will realise that your worries are minute.

In the book of Romans, Apostle Paul gave us a vital information about the demonstration of God’s love towards us – He sent Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. That is, before we realized that we needed salvation, God already made it available, at no cost. Oh what love!

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Are you in doubt of God’s love for you? This message is for you, it is curated to strengthen your heart. God loves you and He proved it on the cross. He did for you what no one else can do for you, no matter how much love they claim to have for you.

Also, you need to reciprocate this love of God. A popular adage says “to whom much is given, much is expected”. As a beneficiary of God’s love, it is important and mandatory that you show as much love as you have received to the people around you. God’s love is at the heart of the love that we have for others. We can love freely because God loves us freely.

“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”
I John 3:16 NKJV

The death of Christ is enough proof that God loves you and enough reason for you to love others. Today and everyday, bask in the love the Father has for you.
