“But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:20-21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Our sense of how cheap or expensive something is depends on the value we place on it. Many of us accept the idea of a $1000 phone because it is the latest iPhone but might be shocked if the same price is put on a bottle of water for instance.

It may seem normal to spend a significant percentage of your income on internet subscription but do you cringe at the thought of spending the same amount on gospel oriented projects? Where you spend your money is an indication of what you value.

When you treasure God above everything else, everything becomes an avenue to pursue God’s heartbeat – the salvation of all men.

“… this is good and acceptable in the sight of For God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The gospel is worth more than any material possession we could ever gain or status we could ever attain. So naturally, we should be willing to employ our possession and platforms towards the spread of the gospel.

The priority of your life should be to please God and do His will. Do this with everything about you – your time, platforms, resources, ambitions etc.

What value do you place on the gospel? How far are you willing to go for it?

You’ve heard it said “Put your money where your mouth is”. Today, I charge you to “Put your life where your faith is”.
