“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:10 NKJV

In virtually every book in the bible, persecution is seen. Take a few minutes today to read through the texts that talk about persecution. This is no side talk!”

Paul says in Philippians 1:29 HCSB: “For it has been given to you on Christ’s behalf not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him…”

Those who haven’t read their Bibles carefully might be tempted to think that being killed for the faith is because one is not in the will of God. This is far from the truth.

Jesus spoke about this, saying:

“If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you.
John 15:19 HCSB

If you ever get confronted for preaching the gospel, no matter how small or big the confrontation is, the Lord calls you blessed.

Recognize how privileged you are to share His message in a hostile world.

Stay resolute! Declare like Paul the Apostle

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” – Romans 8:35-38 KJV

DO THIS: Pray for Christians all around the world being persecuted for their faith. Pray that they be delivered from wicked and unreasonable men. And that they receive boldness to declare their faith even more.
