“This is what the Lord God says to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you will live.”
Ezekiel 37:5 HCSB

Welcome to Bible Reading Plan Recap – that time we do a quick summary of what we read in the Bible this week. It’s the 45th week of our daily Bible reading plan.

This week we read from John 9-11:17-37, I John 2-3:1-18, Job 9-14, Ezekiel 27- 39.

Job 9-14 continues with poem-like speeches traded between Job and his friends. They continue to blame him for his misfortunes while he insists on being righteous.

In Ezekiel 27- 39, we read about the fall and prophecies about the ruin of nations like Tyre, Egypt, Assyria, and Edom. In the midst of all these, we see Ezekiel set as a watchman over Israel. We also read of the prophecy concerning Israel’s restoration, and the vision about the valley of dry bones.

Our reading from John 9-11:17-37 showed us the hypocrisy of the Pharisees who would rather a man remain blind than be healed on a Sabbath. We also read about the characteristics of a good shepherd as preached by Jesus. In addition, we started with the story of Lazarus’s death.

Finally, we read from I John 2-3:1-18. Here, Apostle John tells us about our being in the light which should translate to our refusal to have nothing to do with the works of darkness. In addition, we are commanded as children of God to walk in love.

And that’s all we read in our Bible reading plan this week, family. Have a beautiful weekend. Also, remember to read your Bible and pray everyday.
